Changing habits in 6 to 8 weeks: EMCC paper

Ambroziak, Wekselberg, Rajca: this article is about a new approach to managerial development. The program is based on individual work of a consultant with a manager at the workplace. The distinctive features of this program include a thorough psychological and organizational diagnosis, individual consultations focused on changing behavior in 6-8 weeks. To illustrate the method, we selected one competence (operational planning) and one psychological characteristic (temperamental balance). Preliminary results showed that selecting goals based on psychological diagnosis increases the chance of conducting a successful intervention. As new data is being accumulated, the tendencies detected in the study will be further investigated longitudinally.
